Fruit and yogurt bowl

My kids love yogurt and granola, and so do I! These make a great breakfast, lunch, or snack and I especially love them before a workout for muscle-building protein, healthy carbs to give me energy, and gut-friendly probiotics. This is recipe is awesome for an easy breakfast before school or on weekends before sports for the kids.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or your favorite yogurt)

  • 1/2 banana, sliced

  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

  • 1/4 cup granola (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)

  • A sprinkle of cinnamon or shredded coconut (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Scoop the yogurt into a bowl.

  2. Top with banana slices and mixed berries.

  3. Sprinkle granola over the fruit.

  4. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if you'd like added sweetness.

  5. Add chia seeds, flaxseeds, or any other toppings you enjoy.

  6. Optionally, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon or coconut for extra flavor.
